Warbird won't be used until TNG. <BR/>The Bird of Prey ship in ST:III was supposed to be Romulan(thus the cloaking device which the Klingons did not originally have) but felt that non-trekkie audience might confuse the Romulans & the Vulcans, changing the BOP to a Klingon ship.
