I'm in the minority on Triumph, but a lesser writer would have made him completely forgettable.Wayne Allen Salleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17199261942617339556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-25796670756595988652012-05-31T17:26:41.700-03:002012-05-31T17:26:41.700-03:00The I hope you saw the very first Old52 column abo...The I hope you saw the very first Old52 column about Priest's Xer0!Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-34242780507956720322012-05-31T16:50:33.408-03:002012-05-31T16:50:33.408-03:00I really did enjoy this book. If I'm not mistaken, a big thing was made of Von Eeden being in his late teens when he got this job. The next time I got excited over a writer was when James Owsley started writing as Christopher Priest.Wayne Allen Salleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17199261942617339556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-35683873292880012432012-05-31T13:16:48.641-03:002012-05-31T13:16:48.641-03:00Black & white reproductions would be neat to s...Black & white reproductions would be neat to see, but I quite like Ziuko's coloring, actually. The occasional garishness works to build the mood of the world, which set it apart even more.

As for Fleming, he dropped out of writing comics for nearly a decade only to resurface in 2008 to write the latest Ambush Bug mini. Johnny B would know the specifics, he's got this Thriller thing down, believe it!Michel Fiffehttp://michelfiffe.com/?p=756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-21822548537968921592012-05-31T12:20:23.757-03:002012-05-31T12:20:23.757-03:00It's Loren. However, there has to be a call for it, say if Fleming had some kind of recent hit.Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-91106893715281121132012-05-31T09:10:10.880-03:002012-05-31T09:10:10.880-03:00It's unlikely that this will ever get rebooted...It's unlikely that this will ever get rebooted, but with titles like Night Force around, can this one really be far behind?

As much as I like Thriller, I never thought Alex Niño got a fair shake in this. His Thriller stuff seemed like he was called in at the 11th hour in order to fill the "weird, off-model artist" slot. I dunno, I think it all looked pretty cool, but nothing beats those first 4 issues.Michel Fiffehttp://michelfiffe.com/?p=756noreply@blogger.com
