Animation is done is Korea like pretty much every cartoon, but the storyboarding, writing, art design, and so on are all American.

And thanks for the recommendation. Will try to watch Election soon.chiasaur11https://www.blogger.com/profile/14848393618682533604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-45466274284930891342012-09-01T08:14:44.907-03:002012-09-01T08:14:44.907-03:00As for Johnnie To, I definitely recommend Election...As for Johnnie To, I definitely recommend Election as a first taste.Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-83071611402078041532012-09-01T08:12:26.201-03:002012-09-01T08:12:26.201-03:00Kung Fu Fridays never do anime, as we don't wa...Kung Fu Fridays never do anime, as we don't want to step all over Animondays, but at least one of our members is a huge fan on the non-movie Airbender, so it's likely I'll see it somewhere down the line.

But don't ask me to get into Naruto or Dragonball.Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-47894903171221874962012-09-01T04:06:47.478-03:002012-09-01T04:06:47.478-03:00Nice selection. Will see what I can find.

Know I mentioned the show before, but Avatar The Last Airbender sounds right up your street. It's a wuxia cartoon with good fight scenes, high quality voice acting, and solid writing.

Also, it has a 12 year old blind girl use Hakka Praying Mantis style to beat up a superpowered version of the Rock voiced by Mick Foley.chiasaur11https://www.blogger.com/profile/14848393618682533604noreply@blogger.com
