His Doctor has been put at the bottom on a few occasions, and Timelash is usually at the bottom of the "Every Episode Ever Ranked" lists they do every 10 years. What DWM really should do is "Best introduction of a Doctor", because, as is said above, he completely nails it.

As long as they don't do a "Best Regeneration" poll as well, because he'd almost certainly be at the bottom of that one and he'd get in a grump.LiamKavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01996095233681105682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-85600695735885081252013-08-20T08:48:07.162-03:002013-08-20T08:48:07.162-03:00Of course, if you do that you inevitably start com...Of course, if you do that you inevitably start compiling a list, because Fans Love Lists! Although now that I think about it, "sleeping it off" applies to Doctors 3, 5 and 10. The Sixth Doctor's era had faults, but at least he was actually doing stuff right from the get go.

(And to be fair, having the Tenth Doctor stay in bed was actually very clever. The genius part of "The Christmas Invasion" was that when he finally appeared and said "Miss me?", you'd completely forgotten that you hadn't even met him yet.)LiamKavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01996095233681105682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-82081037654785934102013-08-19T15:01:08.679-03:002013-08-19T15:01:08.679-03:00That's a good point. I've had the DVD now for over a year, but I'm too scared to watch it. Partly because I want to see more of the Fifth Doctor's run, partly because I'm worried it won't live up to the billing, and partly because it might.

I have seen the regeneration though, and it's an irony that the Sixth Doctor, for many people their least favourite model, has bar FAR the best introduction of any classic Doctor.
