Scotty's prefacing speech refers to an infinite number of universes, probably for that reason.Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-48997332118335430202012-12-06T13:35:10.219-04:002012-12-06T13:35:10.219-04:00I'm a bit confused as to how the post-DS9 Mirr...I'm a bit confused as to how the post-DS9 Mirror Universe can actually generate a Mirror Nero storyline that is sufficiently parallel. (Doesn't Mirror Spock die well before the next-gen era, for one thing...?)Jeff R.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37940560.post-64768579638771758282012-12-06T07:46:17.924-04:002012-12-06T07:46:17.924-04:00Agreed.

That provides us with a little more depth and contrast, characterization, and gives us some sense of hope. In this story, there will no one to make Spock "consider it."

So that leaves us with just the voyeuristic thrill of seeing good guys be evil, no end in sight. (Yes, I know Enterprise did the same thing, but that story was set in the Mirror Mirror's past...). Entertaining, but nowhere as good a story.snellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06181997862745538999noreply@blogger.com
