(Another example for me would be the scene in "The Chase" where a Dalek is plainly visible in the background of the haunted house episode before they'd actually arrived).<br /><br />Seriously, though, the idiocy of that scene cannot be overstated. Even if the guy had been abducted as recently as 200 years ago there would have been several hundred languages in use across the country, the majority of which did not survive to the 1980s.
