Batman and the Outsiders #3: Pages 20-21

Argentina, please don't steal this post.*

Back at the Orange Grove...
I got the power TAN TAN-TAN-TAN TAN TAN-TAN-TAN... Oh Black Box, you're not just for gay clubs anymore.
Couple of taser hits and the Orange Squad folds. Well, that's what happens when you shop at the discount goon store. And I'll chalk up the fuzzy syntax to Katana's mishandling of her second language.
And above the city, Batman proves he's more than just a big gray valise to be lugged around by pointing to something happening under the helicopter while he is above it. I'm sure line of sight doesn't apply to Batman HeroClix either.
I don't know which innuendo to make fun of first, so I'll let you supply your own joke.
While the others go after the gas bomb (despite being not ready), Batman crawls towards spinning propeller blades thanks to handy handholds on the Orangecopter's back (because clearly, he's ready for anything).
Is it emitting a loud beep I'm not hearing or is Metamorpho as prescient as Batman?
I guess he is. You know, without coloring, Rex might as well be a Metal Man.
Triple threat: Prescient, Metal Manish AND quite good at keeping his gas contained. He's available ladies. I haven't see Sapphire in this series yet.

Next: The climactic conclusion AND Agent Orange's Who's Who entry!

*Edit: Well played, Argentina, well played.

Poor Agent Orange. Here he is, trying to rocket his gaseous baby (not a euphamism) to Earth from doomed planet Gotham Square Garden, and he's got Batman pointing at him, Metamorpho swallowing his spawn (not a euphamism), and Halo...doing whatever the heck it is Halo does in these scenes (euphamism, though I don't know what for). Jor-El knows how you feel, Agey.

I don't know about Katana mangling the English language, though. She seems like a Darwinist, and might very well kill those who don't have good sense. That's why she's none too happy about not being allowed to kill the other Outsiders.

While I'm skipping around topics, it's time to repair Gotham's sewer drains. That second-to-last panel makes them look like something's gone catastrophically wrong down there. And sadly, I really wish those stray papers were somehow part of the plot, because I'm ashamedly curious.

But then I'm also curious about why a cop would walk some random kid under Metamorpho's...well, crotch, really. That's creeping me out for some reason.

"While you two do your number on it!"

Color me curious, but what is that number, exactly? Is Halo going to hologram the gas to death? Does Geo-Force have a heretofore unknown gas absorbtion power?

Or will the combined might of their Pointing Power simply be enough to completely eradicate the gas?

Can't tell from the decolorized version, but Halo does have a red halo that gives her heat powers.

She harnesses the power of the very RAINBOW!!!!
