Despite being better identified with Spider-Man and Supergirl, Jim Mooney also worked, if ever briefly, on Aquaman. Mr. Mooney passed away a few days ago and so I dedicate this past week to his memory. Though I looked, I could not find another artist who has drawn Aquaman riding not the classic whale, porpoise or giant seahorse, but an octopus:
