    Hulk's intelligence level is a bit random here. He keeps going from classic savage ("Hulk wants to smash! And Hulk WILL SMASH!!") to Grey Hulk intelligence ("And bustin' all of you, all at once, with ONE BIG PUNCH" & "Says you, punk!")

    Was this common at the time?

    I think even the first line works within the grayish Hulk context. He's spoofing his other self.
