This Week Is Going to be Murder

I had all sorts of cool posts planned this week, but this week is really going to be murder at work. Overtime, nights, even stuff over the weekend. Rough. So I'm gonna do my best, but if you're wondering where that Whovian humor piece went... Superman executed it.That intriguing meme? Batman lynched it.
That in-depth analysis of some forgotten comics classic? Wonder Woman snapped its neck.
Man... the Trinity's really violent, isn't it?

Ok, that is genuinely the first time I ever saw Batman lynch a guy. That was unexpected, to say the least.

That issue of Superman is crazy. It felt like John Byrne, on his way out the door, turned around, flipped the bird at DC and yelled "F**k you!"

They did get a lot of mileage out of it. The Gangbuster stuff and subsequent outer space trip, which in turn brought the Eradicator to Earth.
