House of Mysery IS Suggested for Mature Readers after all.
True, but I think there's a part of me that resents DC/Vertigo for taking venerable, classic DC concepts, and dragging them kicking and screaming into the Vertigo world, where they instantly become Not Suitable For Kids.
I mean, Alan Moore covered a lot of icky ground in Swamp Thing, but to my memory he never had to go as explicit as that panel you posted.
If someone at Vertigo wants to do a comic with bug-f*cking, more power to them. But why do you need to call it House of Mystery?
While I'm fine with a giant bug and what follows next in a horror comic, I had the same reaction to ID Crisis. It was far more disturbing and an example of what I would find going too far for this blog.

Ok, rant over.
(Keep in mind I once posted a picture of Celine Dion. With no warning.)
For my money, this is definitely nightmare fuel, so its appropriate.
and yeah defiantly nightmare fuel.
I had a physically remove myself from the issue and put it in another room to stop myself from reading the issue any more
I felt the same way about Identity Crisis.
