Source: The Legion #25 (2003)
Type: Future analog (since retconned)After Zero Hour, Kent Shakespeare - the Superboy analog from the Glorithverse - seemed not to exist until writers Abnett and Lanning cast him as one of the unnamed Legion Academy cadets in a 2003 issue of The Legion. I only found this issue later, but I can imagine how exciting it must have been at the time to catch a glimpse of those rose-colored, frameless glasses. He appears in a handful of panels, never getting line (or indeed, a stage direction) before the real Superboy (Connor) shows up to steal his thunder.
And then a year later, the Legion is Threebooted. Back to the drawing board! So was Kent Shakespeare now gone for good? Why no! But you'll have to wait for April to see his triumphant return as this isn't Kent Shakespeare month. Gotta get back to Superboy!
