Even When Chang Cheh Doesn't Try, He Succeeds

I'm not alone in finding many of Kung Fu movie director Chang Cheh's films (accidentally) homoerotic, but I thought The Deadly Duo was really restrained in that regard. No bare-chested young men clasping unduly holding each other in their sinewy arms, or rejecting girls to go hang out with the bros. But I guess Shaw Bros. still marketed it that way.
