Source: Superman/Batman #80 (2011)
Type: FutureAccording to a recent story line in Superman/Batman, Kent Shakespeare, formerly of the 5 Years Later Legion of Super-Heroes, is still a part of continuity! He appears in just one panel and information is scarce, but here's what we know or can infer:
-He fought the Lord of Time in the 31st century.
-He is the "Superman of that era", an era that is 1000 years after the sons of Superman and Batman are active as super-heroes. We can infer, then, that Kent Shakespeare is a hero 20+ years after the Legion's time.
-He is not the only active member of the Superman family. His bacon is saved by Elna Kent AKA Superwoman.
-As part of the free exchange that seems to exists between the World's Finest Legacies, Kent Shakespeare appears next to a 31st- century version of Robin. However, Robin may just be tagging along with 31st-century Batman Brane Taylor, also featured in the panel.
-He dresses in black and has a utility belt, further tightening his relationship to the World's Finest Exchange Program.
-His glasses now have frames (damn you, Crises!!!).
So who's up for more Kent Shakespeare in their DC Comics?
