Type: Villainous copyIf you were the Silver Age Clayface and you could turn into anything, and when you turned into Superman, you got all his powers... Wouldn't you turn into Superman every single time?
Oh right, Batman has a crapload of kryptonite on hand.

    Were they at a ballpark or race track? Was Clayface stealing the day's take? Now if I was a Super-Clayface, I would have flown straight into the air. But I'm not, thankfully.

    They never addressed why Clayface never turned into Superman again after this story. My theory is, they exposed Clayface-Superman to Gold Kryptonite and he lost the ability to change to Superman.

    Same thing happened to Martian Manhunter – after Gold K exposure he could no longer morph into Kal-El, so when the whole JLA impersonated Superman after his death from Virus X, J'onn had to wear a mask.
