Two Weeks of Pain Day 7: It's gonna be another scorcher. The weekend's been brutal to date. I may be home on R&R, but I still have tons of work to do, notably finish an article for a real-life book (yes, my stuff doesn't just show up on your cheap electronic screens, I can do old school!). Because of that work load and a drive that fell through yesterday, I was unable to go to a friend's beach front birthday party yesterday, for which I suffered some pangs of guilt, because the pain, it isn't just physical, it's psychological too. I'll probably disappoint others before this thing is through.
