Source: Super-Patriot #1, Assassins #1, and Super-Patriot Man of War #1 (1996-97)
Type: Amalgams
When the DC and Marvel universes were amalgamated, Jimmy Olsen actually merged with TWO people, because you know what? Jimmy Olsen can't possibly be reduced to a single half. He's like Batman that way (Bats was amalgamated with both Wolverine and Nick Fury). So it's two Jimmies for the price of one this week.
Jimmy Olsen: Jimmy & Bucky in Super-Patriot (Superman/Captain America)
In the Amalgam Universe, Jimmy Olsen was friends with Super-Patriot during WWII, and acted as his non-costume sidekick. He was a cub reporter and war photographer, which translated into a career as a journalist and editor-in-chief later on. Lex Luthor AKA the Green Skull ultimately falls by his pen.
Jimmy Urich: Jimmy Olsen and Ben Urich in Assassins (Daredevil/Deathstroke & Electra/Catwoman)
Another red-headed, bow-tie-wearing newsman also called Jimmy works for both WNGN and the Gotham Bugle (hard to think Larry King isn't also part of the character's amalgamation), a thorn in the Big Question (Kingpin/Riddler/Tobias Whale)'s side. Like the older Jimmy "Bucky" Olsen, he grabs the headlines with a take-down of a powerful (and bald) underworld figure. I'm going to call the storyline, uhm, Judas Again, or uhhhhh, Born with a Contract. Contracted Again? I have it! Born Judas! No wait...
