Secret Origins Podcast: The Crimson Avenger

A few weeks ago, Ryan Daly (AKA Count Drunkula), started a podcast about DC's 80s comic book series, Secret Origins. His plan: To cover every issue using special guests from across the comic book blogosphere. Well, guess who he tapped to do Golden Age heroes no one else cared about? That's right, THIS guy. (Uhm, I'm pointing at myself with my thumbs here, you'll just have to use your imagination.)

Secret Origins #5 tells - for the first (and only?) time, I might add - the secret origin of DC's first masked hero, the Crimson Avenger, written by Roy and Dann Thomas, with art by Gene Colan and Mike Gustavich.

LISTEN TO IT ON ITUNES or ON LIBSYN

And don't forget to check out the Secret Origins Podcast every Monday HERE.

And Roy Thomas uses it AGAIN in the 1988 Crimson Avenger mini-series:
I hope you enjoyed our chat, and I'll be back with Ryan to talk about another Golden Age mystery man very soon!
