Merlin Ends All War, Ever

Quality Comics' Merlin stopped World War II, then he stopped it again, this time with extreme prejudice. Now, when War rises again in National Comics #11 (1941), Merlin vows to open the eyes of the young people fighting for their respective countries to the truth. It's a complicated plan that entails saving lovers from the druids' sickle in the Dark Ages, bringing them forward to the present, and tasks them with changing hate into love!
Turned into aviators, they fly off to Germanish, where they are immediately killed by an enemy couple. These two hate what they've done and the leaders who've made them do it, after all, aren't they just as young as they are? Merlin saves them from their commander who brands them traitors, and for his next trick, resurrects the first couple.
Well, that's some nice inspiration, but he can't exactly convince each soldier one-on-one like this so...
...He kills the God of War. Done.

Might have tried THAT first, come to think of it.
