The feature inspired by great cosplay and fan art where I imagine various Marvel properties taken to the small screen and wonder aloud just what their shows would be like. Today's pitch: Dazzler.

Despite being a silent medium, comics about music artists and bands seem to be on the rise - Jem and the Holograms, The Wicked + the Divine, Subatomic Party Girls, the new Black Canary, etc., and that's not to mention earlier stuff like Red Rocket 7 and Scott Pilgrim - so I'm giving one voice. Dazzler, the Disco Diva, would come with a bouncing soundtrack and close the gap between musically-minded hits like Glee and the superhero shows we love.
The music industry is worthy of so many biopics and fiction films, a long-form story of that type would provide plenty of drama even without the superheroics. And since the upcoming Jem movie seems to have missed the point entirely, here's a chance to do the idea right. And let's go the full distance with original songs - I imagine Dazzler's music would have a disco revival modern pop feel to it - just like the Archies and Monkees did. Maybe there's a pop star would would love to play this role and have an alter ego (it worked for Marina and the Diamonds... man, now I want to see Electra Heart as a villain on the show).
Doable? Dated? You have other ideas? Let's hear 'em!
