Dating Kara Zor-El: Quick to Get Married

Look, I understand. It's nice to feel wanted. And it's the nature of young love to think your current boyfriend is "the one". But Supergirl is still a teenager and shouldn't be rushing to the altar with every possible love interest. Like Mr. Mxyzptlk in Action #291!?! Come on!
Then there was Tor-An the Phantom Zone criminal in Action #307!
And what about Joaquin from Action #357, the alien boy who took pictures of her from across space without her knowledge? Creepy!
Right up to the Crisis, she was getting hitched. Her secret marriage to another alien, Salkor, was revealed in Superman #415. Ok fine, she had amnesia at the time, and left him when her memories returned and overwrote her memories as "Jasma" (convenient), but her instinct to get married lickety-split, that was all her!
So yes, by all means, date Kara Zor-El, but you better be ready to propose, and propose early.

Hey, didn't Melissa Benoist secretly wed one of her Glee cast-mates this summer? I guess she was perfect casting.

Kara baby, forget these losers. I've been watching your show and I'm ready to walk you down the aisle. Forget smokin' hot TV James Olsen and remember the saying: once you go Anonymous, you'll never listen to that Yanni wuss.
