In game terms, Jenna can play versions of Clara native to any space-time location, with abilities tweaked to reflect the new circumstances (as approved by the GameMaster). These fragments do not generally have her core memories, but do have a similar personality.
Time Traveller - Clara can use some Tech Level 10 items, including sonic technology and the TARDIS' traveling capabilities
Vortex - Clara has telepathic access to the TARDIS via a special part of the console
FAVORITE METHOD FOR ACCUMULATING STORY POINTS
Since Danny's death, Clara acts like she has a death wish and uses her Bad Traits to push herself into danger. Story Point rewards are then used to get herself out of it. Letting the Doctor believe she HAS died is a favorite trick, their separation a strong engine for SP generation.
