IN THIS ONE... The cops have a nightly pool to see how many bad guys Batman and Robin bring in.

REVIEW: What a fun idea. As soon as Batman and Robin arrest a proper handful of crooks, the GCPD springs into action and starts a betting pool. Haha! How many will they bring in? Poor Harvey Bullock walks in late and has to take one of the last numbers available, the outrageously high 20. But since the Dynamic Duo is following the trail of guns recently smuggled into the city, there may just be twenty bad guys to arrest!
It all makes for fun "night in the life" episode with lots of percussive action scenes and the comedy inherent in Bullock making sure they count the criminals' dog, or trying to steal someone else's number. And when he's out on a call - nice to see a copper actually DO something - will Batman's help be counted, or is Bullock always to be life's punching bag?
The creative team has obvious fun with the concept, making each fight distinctive and interesting, as well as throwing in amusing elements like the guy who was dragged to a crime by his cousin, the drunk driver getting his comeuppance, and many good zingers from Robin. Nice!
REREADABILITY: High - A fun little action comedy that uses Bullock very well; "name" villains need not apply.
