Another great episode as usual! Loved the comments on the various Atlanteans...though I would have loved to hear their reaction if they knew that Dragonrider is a woman (as it wasn't really apparent since the image was just a headshot with a face-covering helmet).

Another fun episode! But, man, 4 months in and you're still in the "As." Granted, some letters are going to have fewer entries than others, but this really is a long term project you guys are signed up for. And sadly, because you're using the 80s Handbooks, I'll never get to hear the ladies opinions on my namesake...

(Side note: I always pronounced the Inhumans home as "a-TIL-an" rather than "AT-i-lan." I couldn't find an official pronunciation guide anywhere that includes that, but I guess with the double T your way makes more sense. I guess when the Inhumans movie eventually comes out, we'll find out for sure)

First, we could be convinced to do a special namesakes episode, dipping into later volumes and updates as need be ;)

Second, I'm afraid the latest news has that Inhumans movie cancelled, so...

The Arena of Judgment? Sounds like high school! Another great episode. I agree with the girls that Asp is pretty bad-ass...some of the Serpent Society guys are a joke, but she's pretty cool...or hot, I guess I should say.

That giant lobster pic is cool! Siskoid, have you ever read the Fallen Angels mini-series? No way Devil Dinosaur could step on THAT lobster!

I found that pic of Isabel as Skade, the Goddess of Skiing...don't worry, you look quite majestic. (Though the camera gave you a very un-Godly case of redeye.)

By the way, it's nice to know there are other "linguistics geeks" out there besides me :)

Since you're into old blog posts, yes, I've read Fallen Angels:

I've never read Fallen Angels and, judging by your review, I'm glad! Ah well, I guess you read this crap so the rest of us don't have to :) The weird thing is, I really liked Jo Duffy's work on Power Man/Iron Fist...not sure what she was thinking with Fallen Angels.

Probably a mandate to recapture lightning in a bottle and get another team of young mutants set up. She inherited a New Mutant, created a few of her own, connected it to favorite characters, and then tried to do something different with the concept.

It's a failure, but somehow a beautiful failure. Certainly more memorable than, say, X-Terminators.

After listening to the podcast, I looked up the Asp to see if Marvel had done anything with her lately, and I discovered something interesting. At the time of the original OHotMU listing, her real name was unrevealed...well, apparently, since then, somebody decided that her name is actually "Cleo Nefertiti"! I'm going to assume that that's a stage name from her days as a dancer, since it's much too on-the-nose...
