One Panel #107-109: Someone Gets Their Own Title

From The Bat-Man: "Frenchy Blake's Jewel Gang" by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, Detective Comics #28 (June 1939)

No, it's not Batman. He JUST premiered. Give him a chance. He'll get there.

From Radio Squad: "The Invisible Terror" by Siegel & Shuster, More Fun Comics #44 (June 1939)

Warmer, but no, it's not Radio Squad, who at this point are apparently trying to solve fish tank related crimes. (I'm kidding, it's an invisible jewel thief.) But you've got the creative team right...

From Superman: "Clark Kent Gets a Job" by Siegel & Shuster, Superman #1 (June 1939)

Yep, that's right. 1938's big sensation SUPERMAN is the first DC hero to get his own title, and in fact, to appear in two books. Sure, more than half the material in this issue consists of Action Comics reprints, it does include some new material, including an addition to his origin story that shows how Clark Kent got a job at the Daily Star! (By cheating, of course.)
