In the wake of its closing, esteemed Fire and Water founder Rob Kelly offers a few thoughts and shares some stories about the last newsstand from his childhood that still sold comics, the Voorhees News & Tobacco Shop. Joining him are fellow Fire & Water Network All-Stars Chris Franklin and yours truly, with our own newsstand-scrounging memories.

    Voorhees News & Tobacco! That was MY childhood newsstand too! My father bought his pipe Tabasco there, so my twin brother and I would venture over with him to buy comics and birch beer!
