Hmmm, I thought Doc Ock would've gotten more love, but I guess the green jumpsuit is pretty off-putting. In the late 80s, Ock wore a white suit like Tom Wolfe; maybe that would go over better. I like the comment about how Ock's choices were limited because his name is Otto Octavius; I know it's the wrong Universe, but the first thing that came to mind was Roy G. Bivolo.

I didn't know Doc Savage had a Fortress of Solitude; I always thought his headquarters was in the Empire State Building ... or is that the Fortress you were referring to?

As for Latveria's location, when you get to the W's (eventually) under the Wundagore entry there's a map showing some of the fictional countries in Europe, including Latveria, Transia, and some other castles in Transylvania. I'm not sure how long it was canon; the Marvel Atlas shows a different map, with way more fake countries.

The Building is full of people, not much solitude. Doc also has a big igloo (for lack of a better term) in the Arctic. The 70s movie even starts with a sequence there.
