It never occurred to me to wonder if Flag Smasher liked chocolate or not, but now I can't stop thinking about it. I'm surprised he got so much approval, but I guess his costume is kinda cool and his philosophy (minus the violence) would probably make the world a better place.

I always liked Firestar in New Warriors; she turned into a pretty strong character ... she would've made a good leader.

I thought you sounded like you'd had a few drinks this time around, but what the hell ... it's more entertaining that way. I had no idea my comment about the handball court would start such a debate :)

Another fun episode as always.

And two characters I really look forward to hearing reactions to the more modern looks of the character: Firestar and Fixer. I always thought Angelica's costume was pretty bland to start out with (as you pointed out, it's designed for an 80s cartoon, so simpler is better), but her black and red costume she got when Darick Robertson took over as artist on New Warriors is one of my favorites. Much as I love George Perez's work, his costume for Firestar in the Avengers felt a little too disco for my tastes.

And I'm betting the ladies turn their votes around when they see Fixer in his Techno persona from the Thunderbolts.

Finally...Separated at Birth: Flag-Smasher and Space Ghost?
