Krypto #156: Krisis on Infinite Kryptos

From: Krypto the Superdog #2 (December 2006)

In the story I withheld last week, Krypto finds a chunk of Red Kryptonite which sends him and Kevin flying through the Multiverse to meet parallel versions of the Superdog. Some we only glimpse:
There are worlds where Krypto is a different breed, where he is old or a pup, where he hangs with a little girl or with (whaaaa?! young Clark Kent?!). Mirror worlds, western worlds, magical worlds. Worlds where he is a robot, a space dog, a vampire, a martial arts champion, a cyborg (uh-oh).

But some worlds we see more of. Case in point, the vegetable world of Treeopolis, inhabited by humanoid legumes and patrolled by a Superdog made of wood!
The wooden Krypto tries to arrest them on the charge of being animals, but after a bit of a tiff, Krypto uses his Red K-granted ability to create dimensional portals to get them out of the pan... and into the fire. A pseudo-Medieval world where his feline enemies, Snooky and Mechanikat, rule a kingdom with a combination of cloned super-pets and a Kryptonite gem!
But it's the wrong kind of Kryptonite to do anything to OUR Krypto, and so the slaves are freed and the villains routed. Time for another jump... and this time, it's to a world that's so big, Kev and Krypto are only 2 inches tall there.
But of course, they can still be instrumental in stopping an invasion. Oh look at the time! It's been 24 hours already! As the Red K effects fade, our heroes return home none of the worse for wear.
