Krypto #160: Energy & Safety Krypto

From: Energy & Safety Adventures: Superman and Friends (2006)

Some comics just escape you. Giveaways at baseball games, PSAs, convention exclusives... Sometimes some kind soul will put them online. Other times, less kind souls will name their price for these rare books on eBay. Whatever the case may be, I don't have a copy of Energy & Safety Adventures: Superman and Friends, the third story of which, "A Whiff of Danger" (written by Scott Beatty with art by Marcus Muller), stars the animated version of Krypto in what must be no more than 4 pages (the whole thing is 12 pages, which includes posters and games), ostensibly sniffing out danger. Is this about gas leaks perhaps? As a promotional item for the Con Edison Electric Company, maybe it's about burning wiring. I just don't know. If you do, let us know. The Internet isn't doing much for me; it can't even agree if the book came out in 2006 or 2008, though I think the earlier date is probably correct.

If you do decide to pursue this avenue of research, guys, be energetic, but above all, be safe!

DC's promo comics are all kinds of fun. The ones they did featuring Kentucky Fried Chicken's Colonel Sanders as kind of superhero are just bonkers.
