Krypto #175: Kon-El's Super-Dog

From: Adventure Comics (v2) #1-7 (October 2009 - April 2010)

Francis Manapul's art on Superboy's Adventure Comics run is so good, it's almost a shame to run through it this quickly, but for expediency's sake, here are some of Krypto's greatest hits while palling around with Kon-El (and this time, they get along).

In issue 1, Krypto saves the girl before Superboy can!
And she gives him all the credit and attention too!

In issue 2, he oils the gears of love, lending support to a date between Connor and Wonder Girl.
That dog is capital C, Cute. No but really.

In issue 3, Krypto goes all around the world and brings back Superboy's rogues gallery, defeated.
Hey, he's just trying to help, but some of these guys had reformed or were taken from jail. Anyway, the super-pup makes amends by being real useful in a Superboy-Red Robin team-up later in the issue.

In issue 5, just more cute stuff:
In issue 6, he and Connor are forced to get ingredients for Luthor, and it looks like a fun trip for Krypto. Prehistory (above), Bizarro World, Paradise Island, Atlantis...
...and eventually getting to kick Brainiac's ass.
And in issue 7, not by Manapul unfortunately - not that Travis Moore is a slouch - Connor learns to use freeze breath while under the spell of a Black Lantern ring... on our super-pal!
No worries, he eventually saves the day by digging up Connor's OTHER body (oh clones!) from the ice under the Fortress of Solitude and making the ring glitch. Good boy! No more gravedigging though, but good boy!
