From: Adventure Comics #8 and Superman: War of the Supermen #0-4 (May-July 2010)
Last Stand of New Krypton culminated in War of the Supermen, which has more Kryptonian heroes and villains their allies (and Brainiac) than you can shake a stick at. Doesn't leave a whole lot of room for Krypto, does it? Let's see what the super-pup got up to during the event.
Sniffing Star Boy's foot:
Acting as part of the team that attacked General Lane's secret Mount Rushmore HQ to stop him from killing all the Kryptonians with a red solar energy weapon:
It's like one panel an issue basically, until the last when finally, they let him off his chain. First he bites Ursa in the shoulder to save Supergirl:
And he fetches the Phantom Zone projector so Zod's army can be banished from our reality!
Zod pulls a Kryptonite knife and Krypto takes Superman to safety:
And comes right back to take a knife for Connor who is his current master!
He'll be fine with a little direct sunshine, but wow, totally worth the wait for some canine action!
