Another cool episode; I agree about Man-Thing's general weirdness, especially when Gerber was writing him. As for Swamp Thing, didn't he "borrow" John Constantine's body to impregnate Abby? That's a true friend ...

I agree about the movie Mantis being better than the comics version, which suffered from inconsistent characterization. In the comics, I think Mantis eventually ended up out in space and had a relationship with Silver Surfer.
