Great to see you doing the DC characters and this was a great first episode. If the girls liked Ghast's circles, wait until they see The Outsider. I'm surprised you didn't mention that all comic book scientists are action scientists (especially archaeologists).

I love how Pegasus got more attention than Aegeus; I've read those Wonder Woman comics and Aegeus is pretty damn boring. Luckily, the Crisis wiped him out and I don't think he was ever restored. Interesting that he died being thrown from Pegasus; in Greek myth, Bellerophon suffered the same fate ... when he tried to ride up to Olympus and take a seat with the Gods, Pegasus bucked him off.

He was, actually, twice. He appeared post-Crisis in WW #600, then in the New52 for about half a year there.
