From "The Living Graveyard of the Sea" by Bill Finger and Martin Nodell, Green Lantern #3 (March 1942)
At this point, Green Lantern Alan Scott solo strips appear in two books (well, if we don't count the JSA in All-Star). His own quarterly this month has patrol the oceans quite a bit, as the Nazis become something of a problem in Europe. But also, octopi.
From "Green Lantern vs. a Modern Napoleon" by Bill Finger and Irwin Hasen, All-American Comics #38 (May 1942)
Meanwhile in All-American, Green Lantern is back home dealing with a "modern Napoleon" (Europe has enough problems). I believe he's played by Peter Lorre.
