Slither actually did associate with the Serpent Society when Viper took it over during Gruenwald's run; Slither was kinda Viper's "pet" that she used to attack people. I think the rest of Mutant Force changed their names and joined the Resistants, but it didn't make them any more interesting.

Yeah, Mysterio used special effects (holograms/robots) combined with hallucinogens to screw with Spidey's mind. Some of those old Mysterio stories were pretty wild, like the time he impersonated a psychiatrist and almost got Spider-Man to tell him his secret identity.

Namorita does look weird there, like she's 14 years old or something. She looked like a college kid in the regular comics (and was drawn more muscular later in New Warriors).

As a big New Warriors fan, I can fill in any Namorita questions the girls have, including her college major, which was Environmental Engineering to help protect the planet.

Also, a small correction/retcon from something Siskoid said about her. She was revealed later to be a clone of Namora, so she is also half-Atlantean/half-human like Namora, rather than 3/4 human.

And yes, the ankle wings make absolutely no sense.

And I think when you get to the "later looks" after this book is over, she'll be redeemed to a Hot.
