Jack Kirby wouldn't really be known for weird tech until later, so this is quite the find - a bizarre something-or-other of unidentified purpose inside the headquarters of the villainous Nightshade, and that's also part of the find because he was one of the randos Roy Thomas put in Earth-2's version of the Monster Society of Evil in All-Star Squadron!
