Long time lurker but only just started the podcast a few eps ago. I was big into Big Finish for the first few years and i cam comfirm it was a real shock the first time this came out - i genuinely replayed the end of part 2 straight away because i was so caught off guard!

You mention that Caroline John was sort of a "cover story" for the casting. This works in an extra way you didn't mention - she was Geoffrey Beevers' wife, something both the magazine coverage and CD inlay mention. This is mentioned while his historical Master role is not, as though everyone has almost forgotten it... but turns out they hadn't!
