Cool episode ... it's great to get back to the DC side of things. According to DC Presents 33 (set in 2092) Automan and Ilda were a couple and Ilda's heroism in helping to save Star Hawkins led to robots being able to choose their own life-partners. That story also mentioned Automan being made of manganese, a very rare metal by 2092.

Yeah, Azrael was emo before emo was a thing and he was REALLY annoying; I'm not surprised he wasn't brought back. I think his attraction to Lilith was pretty one-sided, as she was distracted by finding out she was the daughter of Thia, the Titan.

According to Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #7, Balloon Buster did survive the war. He did some stunt flying, opened an airfield, and disappeared over Opal City while investigating a mysterious cloud that was rumoured to contain a dragon and was thought to be causing a plague that devastated the city. The cloud and the plague both vanished the same time Savage did, so maybe he performed one last heroic act?

As for Bob McLeod's wife, yeah she should listen to the show to get an idea what it's all about. I agree the title could be misleading; something like Interesting or Not? or Fascinating or Not? might describe it better, but wouldn't sound as cool.
