Another great episode. Some interesting comments on Professor X; he has been depicted as kinda toxic depending on who's writing him. There have been suggestions that he used his mental powers to influence Storm when he met her when she was a kid, and he definitely tried to manipulate Amelia Vogt's mind when they were dating. The basketball image is from Uncanny 180; it's part of a montage, but it looks like it's been recoloured.

By the way, the woman behind the New Mutants is Stevie Hunter, who ended up doing various things for the team but I think started out as Kitty's dance instructor. And I looked up why the Oscar statuette has a sword: apparently it was originally supposed to be a knight (representing a "crusader" for film or something like that), so even though they went in a different direction, I guess they decided to keep the sword.
