One Panel #685-687: A Whole Lot of Captain Marvel

From Captain Marvel: "Captain Marvel and the Three Lieutenant Marvels Unite To Fight With the United Nations" by C.C. Beck, Whiz Comics #34 (September 1942)

The Lieutenant Marvels are back by popular demand, and I have to admit, having all those red uniforms on the page really looks good. It's kind of nice that Captain Marvel likes to share the power and limelight, right?

From Captain Marvel: "The Bumble-Brained Bridegroom" by C.C. Beck, America's Greatest Comics #4 (August 1942)

Speaking of "team ups", here he is sharing the stage with other Fawcett stars during a benefit show. What each hero's talent is isn't explored to my satisfaction, but this shows that the superhero-as-celebrity is far from a new idea.

From "Captain Marvel a Murderer?" by Pete Costanza, Captain Marvel Adventures #15 (September 1942)

Let me close with this very weird panel, in which the villainous Magician (who looks like just Fawcett hero El Carim) reads up on Captain Marvel in his very own comic... which spoils Billy Batson's secret identity to the world! Damn those artifacts from Earth-Prime...
