From "Superman's Secret Revealed" by Jerry Siegel, John Sikela and Ed Dobrotka, Superman #20 (February 1943)
Jack Schiff takes over as editor and BAM, Batman and Robin are in the comic. Well, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, at any rate. It is clear they don't know Superman and Clark Kent are the same person in this secret identity kerfuffle. The story: Clark is outed as Superman (or vice-versa) and has to pretend Clark was only IMPERSONATING Superman for "reasons" to clear his name and get back in the cape closet. Lois Lane slaps him silly at the end. You'd think this was 1962.
