Happy Whoniversary! Two years after Volume 1, we can finally release the second volume of the Eighth Doctor Expanded Universe Sourcebooks for Cubicle 7's Doctor Who RPG, in line with their 50th Anniversary line of books (so 1st edition, and hey, on the sixty-FIRST anniversary - they covered the Doctor Who canon, we covered the extracanonical adventures from the novels, audios, comics, and more!
You can download (or just read) it HERE in high (printable) or low (computer screen) resolution.Where Volume 1 was largely covering the novels, Volume 2 is mostly the Big Finish audios era. Volume 1 set a size record that Volume 2 is breaking by about 40 pages. These are MONSTER books (literally, depending on the page). And the 8th Doctor's adventures aren't even over! They'll spill into our next book, the Time War Expanded Universe Sourcebook, one which he shares with other Doctors, including, of course, the War Doctor. The two-year delay is partly due to size, but only in the sense that doing the layouts for a 440-page book was intimidating. My contributors - Peter "misterharry" Gilham (the series' usual workhorse and proofreader) and Dylan "Malk" Carroll (who covered the Lucie Miller audios, comics and more this time) - completed their work within a year and my apologies to them as much as to you for letting other projects get in the way of my doing my part. (I'm sort of repeating myself, because the same thing happened for Volume 1.) They covered these stories so completely, I didn't lay claim to any entry for myself. The good news is: All the remaining books are quite short in comparison!
So enjoy this collection of companions, allies, villains, monsters (told you), places and gadgets from this second, monstrous half of the 8th Doctor's stories. As usual, my thanks to everyone who's kept up with the project in spite of the delays. And look for the Time War stories coming in 2025.
