Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game,
resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time.
Sometimes, the Encyclopedia sends you down a "chute" of connected
concepts.
THE ENTRIES:
[56] Akritiri
[57] Akritirian freighter
[58] Akritirian patrol ship
[59] Akritirian prison satellite
[60] Aktuh and Melota
[56] See Akritirian Prison Satellite for full extent of dilemma's powers. It seems I tried to assign a quadrant icon to a dilemma, and I'm not sure it works. I mean, it's needed for the Prison Satellite to play correctly, but you can only be sure you can play it on one of YOUR missions. Maybe I imagined an environment where everyone agreed to play Voyager-only. If I were to design these cards again, the dilemma and Satellite would lose their Akritirian identity and just be typical of any such facility, and therefore playable anywhere. But I'm showing you the designs as they were in the late 90s here.
[57] The source for all Akritirian cards is "The Chute", by the way.
[58] Following the normal Captive rules, of course.
[59] Brainwash, Interrogation, etc. cannot be played on Satellite captives. I really stretched the game text as far as I could!

And now: Geordi sings us a ditty! Going to have fun with a Q-card...
THE ENTRIES:
[61] Al-Batani, USS
[62] Al-Leyan transport
[63] Alan-a-Dale
[64] Alans
[65] Alastria
[61] Janeway's classification is SCIENCE instead of OFFICER and that skill disappears from her skill box. Source: "Caretaker"
[62] You might recognize the ship's pic from the Aliens franchise. That's because I suddenly realized "Al-Leyan" is probably a pun. If you can make your Richard Galen universal, you might be able to multiply those points. Source: "The Chase"
[63] The Q-Dilemma looks like a Ressikan deck hoser (and it is), but it's also an I Am Not a Merry Man attractor that let's all your other Q-cards hit. Source: "Qpid"
[64] The special ability means that if he receives Reflection Therapy, Mot's Advice or Frame of Mind, he can use both skills as a means of getting mission specialist bonuses. The limit of one such bonus per specialist stands, however. Source: "Pen Pals"
[65] I don't believe such seeding restrictions had (have?) ever appeared on a card before. Source: Voyager's "Prime Factors"
Next up: The set's first Artifact!
