ST CCG Dream Cards AtoZ: Aldebaran Whiskey to Alixia

Another round of dream cards for the Star Trek Collectible Card Game, resurrected from the late 90s and given graphics for the first time. Feeling peckish? I've got a lot of Food cards to present...

THE ENTRIES:
[81] Aldebaran whiskey
[82] Aldebaran
[83] Aldorian ale
[84] Alenis Grem
[85] Alfarian hair pasta

NOTES:
[81] Romulan personnel already aboard when card is played may remain, but no new personnel can join them. For the Romulan player, the attribute modifiers hold for Away Teams at this location. Scotty doesn't need a special Site to get his hands on this. Source: "Relics", though it was of course first seen in TOS' "By Any Other Name".
[82] This is the planet where Aldebaran Music Academy may be played. Source: TOS' "The Deadly Years" (picture from the CG-enhanced version)
[83] Source: "The Perfect Mate"
[84] Someone you leave at home. Source: "Second Skin"
[85] Always loved the Barbering cards. Here's another. Source: "Parturition"

And now: Our first ANIMAL card!

THE ENTRIES:
[86] algae puffs
[87] Algira sector
[88] Algorian ceremonial rhythms
[89] Algorian mammoth
[90] Alixia

NOTES:
[86] While Neelix prepared these, I have not slapped the Delta Quadrant icon on them. I figure algae pretty much grows everywhere. The planets targeted are considered hostile to humanoid life and include (but are not limited to) Access Relay Station (Callinon VII), Cargo Rendezvous (Beltane IX) and Sarthong Plunder (Sarthong V). Only a handful of missions are actually affected, no more than reason for a free card play, although AtoZ obviously adds to that. Source: "Remember"
[87] Lets even the Cardassians use Runabouts. Source: "The Die Is Cast"
[88] Second function (based on the Trade Conference where the pic was snapped, couldn't fit it into the lore): If this is a planet location, the Diplomacy personnel must still be aboard ship while an Away Team attempts the mission. Source: "Ménage à Troi"
[89] The Encyclopedia lists a number of animals used in the show only in comparisons ("as blind as a Tiberian bat", is a classic example). This gives me a chance to add to our menagerie. The Mammoth is mostly an aid to personnel battles. Hypospray may not be used on it for either effect (good or bad) due to its mass. Silly, I know. The picture comes from the Decipher Star Trek RPG (the Creatures sourcebook), though I've added the background. Source: "The Wire"
[90] Reminder: Outposts are in space. Source: "Mortal Coil"

Next up: "All Good Things..." (no, I'm not stopping, haha)

Aldebaran Whiskey would definitely earn a 5 from the Rolodex for Lore. Which, at only 8 letters long, must get some special award for efficiency too.
