Handmade ST CCG Cards - Reimagined!

Back in 2011 - have you been a reader that long? - I dug some homemade Star Trek CCG cards out of an old box and scanned them for your pleasure. They were all based on concepts from Pocket Books' TNG novels. Photocopies, colored and written by hand, stuck on card backs. They looked kind of cool, but rather grotty. Here they are again (click to enlarge):

But what if I tried to recreate them with all the digital tools available to me today? And further, adjust them with a brain that had more than the Basic Set on hand and more balance (that Q-in-Law is game-breaking). Well, it might go a little like this...

Idun Asmund is from Michael Jan Friedman's "Reunion" and is based on one of the ghostly figures in the episode "The Battle". Note the expansion icon, which is the Pocket Books kangaroo.
The Devil's Heart is the eponymous artifact in Carmen Carter's novel. I dropped the charges (ha!), which is very unlike ST CCG.
Q-in-Law (based on the Peter David novel) really deserved to be a Q-card!
The Chorai Ship is the big bad in Carmen Carter's "The Children of Hamlin".
Starbase 193 sounds like a  prototype for Lower's Decks' Starbase 80, though that might be MY assessment. It was featured in "The Devil's Heart".
Primitive Society is inspired by the events of Michael Jan Friedman's "A Call to Darkness".
Hey, these look pretty cool!

The original post mentions TEN OTHER cards found in the same box. Where are they now?! I don't know, but if I do find them, I guess I'll re-imagine them and post them here! Wish me luck on my treasure hunt...
