One Panel #846: Superwoman's First Appearance

We now begin looking at comics on the stands in March of 1943...

From Superman: "Lois Lane -- Superwoman",  by Jerry Siegel and George Roussos, Action Comics #60 (May 1943)

This past year, Lois Lane became Superwoman, at least for a time, and it was quite fun to have her so squarely in the Super-Family like that. The idea had been visited a number of times, but the first instance is in Action Comics #60. This is HER take on Action #1's "dealing with a car full of crooks"!

Of course, it was all a dream. But it would one day become reality!

Lois Lane gained her Superwoman powers back last week at the end of Superman #31 as part of the DC K.O. event.
