From Captain Marvel: "One Thousand Years from Now" by C.C. Beck, Whiz Comics #41 (April 1943)
Nobody ever talks about Capmarv, Captain Marvel's 30th-Century descendant, but maybe that's because he only appeared in two consecutive issues of Whiz Comics. Bilbat in his private life, the futuristic red cheese of a thousand years hence only shouts "Shaz!", which means he has the powers of two fewer gods/heroes. It also seems like they just don't have time for polysyllabic words in the future. So without Achilles and Mercury, he can't fly and lacks bravery. It takes Billy travelling to the future to teach him the rest of the magic word.
I simply can't believe no one every brought him back (looking at you Grant Morrison's Thunderworld).
