RPG Menagerie: The Toon Martian

It's April Fool's so I wanted to feature one of the sillier role-playing games, but it's still a true classic. Steve Jackson Games is working on an updated (and I'm sure, full-color edition) and was crowd funding it very recently.

Monster: Martian
Game/Product: Toon/1st edition Core Book
Writing: Warren Spector. Art: Kyle Miller
Origin: Obviously based on Marvin the Martian - replace the Roman helmet with a tuque and stick a bushy moustache on him - he's part of Toon's "generic cartoon" cast, bound to go up against your non-Bugs Bunny rabbit or your not-Daffy duck. The original Toon book set an adventure on the Moon (made of cheese, of course), where this little green man was staging his invasion of Earth with his equally-tuqued, purple "Martian Dog". Madcap hilarity ensues.
Fear Level: None. Even a disintegrated PC gets up again in the next scene.
Danger Level: Big Bad, But Not THAT Bad, We're All Friends Her--Oops, I Disintegrated You (yes, this is an official Danger Level).
Famous example: Haredevil Hare (1948), The Hasty Hare (1952), Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century (1953), Hare-Way to the Stars (1958), Mad as a Mars Hare (1963)... right?
I wonder if: Gamers ever write the filed numbers back in and use Toon for copyright-problematic adventures.

I've played Toon a handful of times, and it's great. All you need is a scenario premise and not much more, since the players are gonna run roughshod over anything more detailed anyway, and fill the session with cartoon gags until it's time to go home. But the Martian would usually have more of a "plan" than your non-Elmer Fudd hunter or your non-Wile E. Coyote predator, so for more enterprising Toon players, he's great.
