RPG Menagerie: Elias the Whale

For Halloween, the last of our horror RPG monsters, and while I know you PLAY monsters in Vampire: The Masquerade and other World of Darkness games, there are still even more monstrous NPCs to encounter. In this case, I've gone to a city I've visited fairly often (and even lived in for a week), and yes, it's a monstrous, monstrous place...

Monster:
Elias the Whale
Game/Product: Vampire: The Masquerade/Montreal by Night
Writing: Philippe Boulle, Joshua Mosqueira-Asheim, Lucien Soulban. Art: Christopher Shy
Origin: A member of the Wretched, a pack dedicated to pushing the envelope of vampiric evolution and led by a vamp called Stéphanie L'Heureux. Elias is her first recruit. They made their lair in an abandoned department store, which is where Elias keeps his extensive library, but he remains the Master of Montreal's sewers.
Fear Level: Bloated to the point of being unable to walk without magical help, Elias is deathly pale and enormous, which should give even vampiric PCs pause.
Danger Level: A powerful and grotesque vampire who collects arcane knowledge and knows magic? Yeah, normal humans are done for. Run, run fast, since it'll take Elias a minute to get up.
Famous examples: The obese vampire is an occasional trope in horror fare. In Blade, we have Pearl, the archivist for the House of Erebus, who is so large, he is immobile. In VtM itself, there is a famous Ventrue elder named Horatio Ballard in Chicago who has a similar body type. The idea is that (even though Elias himself was only Embraced in 1967) these vampires are ancient and have either fed too long or their physical bodies are rotting to the point of dilation, and that therefore, they are extremely dangerous.
I wonder if: The accents make these guys less scary.
